    Description

RARE WWII German Death Card for
a MEDICAL STUDENT Before his Death on the Eastern Front
    DESCRIPTION:
This is a rare WWII death card for a soldier killed during the war. HE WAS A MEDICAL STUDENT DURING HIS PRE-WAR LIFE.
    Specifically,
    1) "Franz Xaver Brandl, medical student in pre-military civilian life, unterofficer, who heroically died on Jan. 22, 1942, aged 28, on the Eastern Front". NICE PHOTO of this promising young man wearing uniform and jaunty peaked hat.
    Card is in very good
    condition.
Original card, more than 75 years old, and a nice face and quite a fantastic story to brothers and a family who otherwise would be forgotten statistics.
Items are sold ONLY as historical artifacts and I respect the bans of such items in France, Austria, or any other countries where bids cannot be accepted.
DIFFERENT, MUCH MORE UNUSUAL, AND HIGHER QUALITY DEATH CARDS VS. THE MORE COMMON ONES GENERALLY SEEN ON EBAY.
    PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS!!!
