Rare - The Medals of the Nations of the World - Franklin Mint, 117 Sterling Medals + First Day Stamps
Set of 117 sterling medals, each with a first day stamped envelope with Special UN Certificate of Authenticity on reverse. Addressed to Subscriber on each envelope with cancelled stamp from country of origin. Issued between 1976-1982.
Medals are cast in 925 Sterling Silver - First Edition Proof. Each medal bears a scene reflecting the culture and heritage of member.
A hardbound fitted album was provided to each subscriber with leather look & feel to front, back & top. Silver lettering & logo. Individual index cards with listed country + verbiage.
Very nice condition with little handling or wear. Case in very nice condition.
