Save your expensive refrigerator!
This is an inexpensive no brainer insurance policy that will help keep your refrigerator protected from AC power voltage surges. Especially when electricity goes out and suddenly comes back on. There's a 4 minute "power on" delay which is great protection for on/off spikes.
We have a fridge and small freezer in our shop, same thing in the house and have one of these on all of them. We lose electricity more often than we probably should and luckily we have never had any problems.
One thing we think is pretty cool. The unit itself works something like a fuse. It is designed to self-destruct before it allows your appliance to be damaged. We have never seem such a device devoted completely to protecting you. It's nice to know this things got your back. But note, should this happen, it has saved you and you need a new one.
The price is right and it's a real bargain. Certainly it's something that pays for itself over and over whenever there's a power issue. Just remember, this is one of those things you want to have BEFORE you need a repair or replacement.
