?This is an ORIGINAL and RARE "crossed arrows" collar disk worn by enlisted men of the First Special Service Force, the elite Canadian/American unit of WWII, commonly called the "Forcemen" or the "Devil's Brigade". I acquired it in the late, great Manion's International Auction back on April 11, 2001. The collar disk is the early-War "screwback" insignia, with the "crossed arrows" separate form the disk itself.  This type is much rarer than the two-piece "clutchback" insignia introduced later in the War. This would necessary entail making small incisions in the wool fabric of the blouse or having professionally-sewn small "button holes" or grommets made in the lapels of the Class A blouse of the Forceman. The insignia is in VERY GOOD condition, but the brass is slightly scratched and has tarnished, but could be polished to a bright finish.  Here's an opportunity for the FSSF collector or re-enactor to obtain a very rare insignia for the collection or impression. The buyer will have my usual unconditional guarantee of authenticity and a five-day (
