LOOKING IN THE MONTANA TOKEN BOOK, I COULD NOT FIND ANY TOKENS FROM "HAUGAN" MONTANA, SO A TOUGH TOWN TO FIND EXONUMIA FROM....AND THE TOWN HAD A FIRE IN 1910...SO IT WAS AROUND DURING THE "TOKEN ERA"
THIS IS A VERY ICONIC OLD BAR IN MONTANA, I SEEM TO RECALL "50,000 SILVER DOLLARS" ON DISPLAY IN THIS TOWN, NOT SURE
Note that this early encased came out of a small collection of encased cents exonumia, please watch for future listings.
ALWAYS LOVE THESE ENCASED PENNIES, TOUGH TO FIND THESE OLD WHEAT EAR PENNY ADVERTISING ENCASED....
The tiny little town of "HAUGAN" is incorporated these days, and located in Mineral
County....sort of east of Kellogg and Wallace Idaho, and not far from St Regis Montana
Very nice old ADVERTISING related ENCASEMENT, and a great "GO WITH" collectible for a MONTANA SOUVENIR OR TOKEN collector as well. LOVE THE SHAPE OF THIS
Advertising encased is bi-metallic with aluminum metal outer with 1958-D lincoln head cent inner, horseshoe shaped, about 35mm x 42mm size ,and it displays very nicely. (please see pictures in gallery)
Gallery pictures should give you all the information you need. Cent is original to encasement.

Amazing and
OLDER BI-METAL SOUVENIR
