    Description

Up for auction is a lot of seven rare WWII plastic
    Cruver
spotter/recognition plane for repair/restoration. The scale is 1/432. This is the "pocket" version, originally meant to be held at arm's length to help identify plane in flight. The hole through it is to hang the plane on a string. The pocket versions are hard to find because most were lost or discarded after the war. It bears the Cruver trademark - a "C" inside a circle, which looks similar to a copyright symbol. This is
    NOT
the Kix Cereal version released in the 1950s.  "U.S.A. C-47" is on the underside. The detail on this small plane is incredible, and the condition is fantastic, considering it is nearly 70 years old.
Included in this lot are the following:
    PB2Y-3 (missing left vert. stabilizer)
    C-60-A (missing left vert. stabilizer)
    Mitsubishi F1M (missing central pontoon)
    Waco CG-44 (missing left wheel)
    P-51 (broken vert stabilizer)
    OS2U-1 (cracked horizontal stabilizer)
    JAP Kate (broken left wing)
I always try to highlight any defects I may find in the images so you know exactly what you're getting. Please look closely at all photos and ask any questions you may have before bidding. Check out my other auctions! I have other interesting vintage items up for sale, including many more Cruver pocket recognition planes and MORE that will be posted in the coming weeks (a collection of 40 planes!). I will gladly combine shipping to save you money on multiple purchases. Thanks for looking and good luck!
