Description
An ionic smoke sensor with an internal ionization chamber coated with americium, a compound of the radioactive isotope Am-241, americium dioxide, is an alpha radiation source. Please avoid long-term close contact, but also to prevent dangerous substances into the body, in order to avoid affecting health. Each ionic smoke sensor contains microgram level AM-241.Main specifications/special functions:
Ionization chamber smoke sensor NIS-07:
Based on the computer simulation of the cell structure designed for optimum performance, the ionization chamber is specially designed for smoke detectors.
All materials are made of high corrosion resistant materials, and their safety performance meets BS/ISO/ANS/GB C64646 standard.
The ionization chamber, as the main component of smoke detector, meets the U.S. UL217 European EN-54-7 and GB4715-93 standards. The contacts are coated with solder and easy to install.
Good consistency of product quality, assembled detector does not need to measure the ionization chamber one by one, so it is convenient for automated production.
Features:
The structure of ionization chamber meets the requirements of UL217 9.5 for insect-proof net.
Gold on the surface of stainless steel and polycarbonate materials and ionization sources, with high corrosion resistance
The collector has good uniformity of equilibrium potential and low dispersion, which can be used for analog smoke detector.
All solder joints are pre-coated with solder to facilitate welding and installation.
Ionization source characteristics and radiation safety performance:
Installation of a high performance and low activity Am-241 ionization chamber
Ionization source activity: 0.5uCi(18KBq)+10% 0.8uCi(30KBq)+10%.
Energy spectrum of ionization source a: peak value: 4.5 MeV + 10%, FW HM < 0.7 MeV
Safety Classification Standard (GB4075, IS02919) C64444
Radiation dose rate at 25cm of ionization chamber: 0.03mGy/year (lower than 1 mGy of population dose standard)
