Carter Brothers Animal 6.5hp Gas-Powered 2-Seater Go Kart Cart

This is a Carter Brothers "Animal" Gas-Powered 2-Seater Go-Kart. Great fun for kids. We've had this for about 7 years, we just got some new rides and need to make room for them, so getting rid of the ones we don't use as much. The original model number of this go kart was "2336-3017" as printed on the frame. Carter Brothers ceased operation in 2017 although getting parts for the unit is easy (there's only a couple of parts that need to be changed due to wear-and-tear and you'll have no problem finding replacements).
It's a single-axle drive, no suspension, simple gas pedal operation. The engine isn't original, I received it that way but never had a problem with it. It's a 6.5hp engine and it starts up with one pull, after started open the choke up to and start riding. To shut it off you just choke-it and engine will stop (there is no kill switch). It's a great quick go-kart, even adults can have fun riding it (
although must watch your head as the roll-bars aren't gentle
).
Since owning it, we've replaced the centrifugal clutch assembly and the brake pad once. The brake pad will need to be replaced again soon is it's not lining up properly, but it's a part and anyone handy with a wrench can replace it easily. The seat is not fixed, the lever to hold it in place broke so it kinda slides forward/back, I sometimes drill a screw in the rail to keep it in place. Three of the tires hold air fine, one has a slow leak which requires you to refill it every so often. The front tires are the same, but the rear tires are different tread patterns.  One of the seat belts is torn (drivers side), the passenger side is OK, very easy to install/replace the belts as well as I was the one to replace them.
No title or any other paperwork, I purchased this from an auction years ago and did not receive any paperwork with it. We've used it exclusively on our property and the kids and their friends always enjoyed it, can easily drift and do donuts on grass and other slippery surfaces too. It's got a wide stance and not once has it ever flipped over. For the most part, we just fill it with gas and ride the heck out of it on our driveway and lawn.
It is otherwise sold as-is, it will require maintenance and service to keep it running safely depending on how much you use it. You are welcome to inspect it prior to purchase. It is listed on other classified-sites so this listing may be canceled if it sells elsewhere.
