Description
You get 5 feet of this very interesting TRUFLEX P675R thermostat bimetal material made in the TI Attleboro plant in 2002. It was made for a US thermometer manufacturer and a search shows it is used in thermostat-thermometers and other sensor devices.Application:
The material is mainly in automatic control devices and instrumentation (eg: exhaust thermometers, thermostats, voltage regulators, temperature relay, automatic protection switching, diaphragm meters, etc.) make temperature control, temperature compensation, current limit, temperature indicator and other heat-sensitive components.
It would be good for Arduino and other maker DIY sensor projects. Five feet is a lifetime supply for most but if you need long lengths email me for a price. The material runs about a dollar a foot in long lengths of 100 or more.
You can freeze it and then warm it up and make it dance a little...interesting material. Email if any questions and check my other interesting items including SWISS Tweezers and more. WP4DMV...73/
