    About the size of a U.S. Half Dollar
    The coin commemorates the 100th birthday of the Lenin.  The Obverse features
    Lenin
    bust   The years 1870-1970 are  on the face of the coin but can be found on the engraved rim. The coin is of nickel/copper and is very slightly larger than a US half dollar. The reverse features the typical Soviet Union symbol and indicates in Russian One Ruble. This coin is now somewhat scarce because at the fall of the Soviet Union, in 1991, all things that bore the image of Lenin tended to be destroyed. It is anyone?s guess how many of this coins still remain in existence
